This is the culmination of the "Authentic Mantras" series, and even includes a short explanation of the Gayatri Mantra, thought to be the most ancient and powerful of all mantras known to mankind. The album begins with the invocation of Gayatri, the personified Mother of the Vedas. The Pranayam Mantra follows, used for control of one`s breathing and to connect with the Sun`s energy. After the explanation, the seed sound "Om" is chanted three times to welcome the divine power. The Gayatri Mantra is then chanted in chorus 108 times. The album then ends with a prayer, thus fulfilling the three stages of the bhakti or devotion: visualization, meditation and prayer.
